DAC (Direct Air Capture) Compressor

JORD is awarded the EPC Works of the Wet CO2 Compressor for the OXY Odessa Direct Air Capture - 1 plant, which is comprising of the design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, inspection, mechanicallycompletion, test, FAT, and delivery as per the agreed schedule and at the approved fabrication yard. 

The skid has the following equipment: Compressor, Intercoolers, Seal gas panels, Lube oil skid, E-motor and allnecessary valves, strainer, piping, and instruments. The skid will be fabricated in Dubai (UAE) , transported to USA, and installed by module concepts at site. Simu is responsible for Structural Engineering and Design work for both WET and DRY CO2 compressor trains. 

The structural design is based on bolted concepts and unique challenges are the stringent requirements on forced vibration analysis due to sensitivity of compressor machines.
